Escape From Tarkov Teases a New Mts-255-12 Shotgun, New Update

Battlestate Games has teased a new weapon coming to Escape From Tarkov soon. Mts-255-12 shotgun, another weapon added to the repository of upcoming weapons, is expected to arrive in Escape From Tarkov soon. All of the weapons revealed but not added to the game are expected to be added with the next major update, which is deemed to introduce Lighthouse and/or Streets of Tarkov.

Below you can find the official Tweet by the developer teasing the new Shotgun:

Furthermore, the developer announced that a new Escape From Tarkov update had been deployed, containing minor technical fixes. The update is available to download through the launcher.

I could imagine what actually is going through the minds of the developers of Escape From Tarkov as they tease new weapons. Recently, the guy behind JustEmuTarkov has managed to outshine BSG by adding tons of new content such as weapons and other stuff in its single-player EFT emulator.

JustEmuTarkov, or JET for short, is a self-hosted backend server for Escape From Tarkov, which allows players to play on their own terms. The project was started by one guy and allows modification of every server-side parameter and supports modding that would allow players to play different game modes. The emulator is free to download and play, which is not very polite towards developers, even though the person behind the emulator supports the original game.
