Escape From Tarkov Firesale is LIVE, Wipe Likely to Happen Tomorrow

Until this moment, I thought I’d seen everything in Tarkov: the endless bullet storms, shady Scav ambushes, and those damnably quiet Bush Wizards that make your spine tingle. But, my friends, let me tell you, something new has put the economy in Tarkov in flames, and now, traders have gone to complete “everything must go!” mode.

Well, if I know something about Escape From Tarkov, that is that whenever it has a Firesale event, the game usually wipes the very next day.  The announcement for the event was first posted on Battlestate Games’ official X profile. You can find the post below:

Let’s take a step back to see how this fever dream started. A nasty feud between Prapor and Peacekeeper escalated into full-blown warfare. PMC operatives, caught in the middle, have been dropping like flies. Meanwhile, the Scavs? They’ve been partying harder than a Twitch streamer on subathon day, looting everything that isn’t bolted down. The fallout? Complete economic meltdown.

The traders, once proud to sell overpriced grenades and shoddy AKs, couldn’t keep up with the spiraling losses. Discounts turned into panic sales. And now? Desperation has pushed them to the brink. Every piece of gear, ammo, and weapon in their inventory goes for a single rouble. A loaf of bread? One rouble. A fully kitted M4? Still one rouble. It’s like a Tarkov Black Friday sale but with the apocalypse flavor.

But don’t think you’ll waltz in and snatch up a fleet of slick armor and high-end weaponry without a fight. Everyone, PMC or Scav, hardcore or casual, is out there doing their best “grab everything before it burns” routine. It’s absolute bedlam. Do you think Tarkov was chaotic before? Try grabbing a suppressed SR-25 while dodging buckshot from every direction. You’re paying one rouble for both the gun and a near-death experience.

Are you ready for tomorrow’s wipe?
