Escape From Tarkov buffs the recoil of all 5.56 weapons

The developer of Escape From Tarkov, Battlestate Games, just had enough. After numerous complaints trashing the 5.56 weapons and their low usage, Battlestate Games decided to even the playing field and eliminate the current meta by buffing all of the 5.56 weapons. Finally, players may indulge in playing with the M4, HK, and other weapons using this particular ammunition.

Previously, Battlestate Games buffed the 5.56 ammunition, increasing the damage but lowering the armor penetration. Now, it’s a different world. This may induce a new meta within the Tarkov region and yield the AR-15 as the most favorable platform. Without further ado, below you can find all of the 5.56 weapon buffs, as detailed on tarkov-changes.

Escape From Tarkov 5.56 Weapons Buffed

Weapon Vertical Recoil Horizontal Recoil
Kalashnikov AK-101 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
132 → 125 136 → 128
Kalashnikov AK-102 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
136 → 128 392 → 369
HK 416A5 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
156 → 147 423 → 398
FN SCAR-L 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
152 → 143 458 → 431
FN SCAR-L 5.56×45 Assault Rifle (FDE)
152 → 143 458 → 431
Colt M4A1 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
147 → 139 405 → 381
HK G36 5.56×45 Assault Rifle
132 → 125 390 → 367
ADAR 2-15 5.56×45 Carbine
149 → 141 407 → 383
Lone Star TX-15 DML 5.56×45 Carbine
140 → 132 380 → 358

What do you think about these changes? Are you going to be using the 5.56 weapons now? Previously, we noticed a constraint in the 5.56 ammunition, being unable to eliminate highly geared opponents.
