Escape From Tarkov Bans Over 3000 Cheaters Shortly After Fresh Wipe

Battlestate Games has decided to be transparent regarding bans deployed in Escape From Tarkov. Today Battlestate Games has announced that over 3000 cheaters have been banned in Escape From Tarkov, shortly after the fresh wipe. The riddance was done by BattlEye, anti-cheat that seems to have a slightly more intrusive approach in the new patch.

With a high realism introduced in a video game such as Escape From Tarkov, a more rigorous fight against cheaters is mandatory. Thankfully, today’s info can be taken as a positive surprise to all the committed players and fans of this tactical shooter. Future bans will be noted on the official channels, such as Twitter or Discord, so make sure you follow them too.

Long ago, Escape From Tarkov had to deal with bans manually, based on reports or abnormal game stats held by cheaters. Sadly, that doesn’t seem to have affected the experienced cheaters, not until the arrival of BattlEye.
