Shortly after the war between Epic Games and Apple, which started due to “elitism” and revenue-sharing, including other various Apple policies, Epic Games couldn’t get a hold but respond even harsher. Without a thorough answer, Epic Games has decided to block Apple ID logins from accessing Fortnite. The block of such IDs will be in power starting on September 11.
This is undoubtedly going to be an unpleasant experience for all the Fortnite fans and supporters of Apple. After Apple decided to countersue, Epic Games probably felt the need to hit back. However, Epic Games doesn’t have bad intentions and wouldn’t entirely ban these users and prevent them from logging into Fortnite. Instead, it will push Apple users to change their profile email and password.
According to Epic Games recent blog post:
Apple will no longer allow users to sign into Epic Games accounts using “Sign In with Apple” as soon as September 11, 2020. If you have previously used “Sign In with Apple”, please update your Epic Games account email address and password immediately so that you can still login after September 11, 2020.
In war, innocents struggle. In this case, those are the fans of Fortnite, who’re somewhat pushed to make alterations to be able to log into Fortnite. Whether if the war lasts long or ceases shortly, this kind of events always leaves a painful mark.
