The Epic Games Store continues to impress with its offerings of free games, and its latest reveal does not disappoint. Both the atmospheric hunting game, theHunter: Call of the Wild, developed by Expansive Worlds, and the strategy game, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms by Codename Entertainment, will be available for free from June 22nd through June 29th. These two titles will replace the currently free-to-play game, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and Guacamelee! 2.

This exciting news is a testament to Epic’s commitment to delivering a diverse array of quality games to its user base at no cost.

“theHunter: Call of the Wild” offers a unique hunting experience that submerges players into a real open world. You’re more than an observer in this game – you’re an active participant, tracking your prey while being mindful of their behaviors and patterns. With a range of weapons and ammunition, players must also account for elements like wind and bullet drop. Each reserve is detailed to mimic various world regions, with rich biomes to explore.

Meanwhile, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms brings a different gameplay experience. It is a strategy game where players organize a group of characters with unique abilities to complete quests. The game is set in Dungeons & Dragons, and combining strategy and idle elements creates an engaging and accessible gaming experience.

Epic’s announcement of theHunter: Call of the Wild and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms as its next free titles showcase its continued efforts to provide players with quality games, irrespective of genre, without the price tag. This suggests that Epic Games Store users can anticipate more exciting releases. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer or a newbie looking to expand your collection, the availability of these games for free presents an opportunity that’s too good to miss.
