Epic Games 14 Days of Fortnite negligence brings a gift to the players

Fortnite is no doubt the most played game nowadays. Epic Games are on a high roll accomplishing various of tasks in favor of the community, no matter what game is in question. The same occurs with the most recent 14 days of fortnite challenge, which allowed Fortnite players to get extra tasks.

Epic Games has misled the end date for 14 days of Fortnite. Therefore, as a minor mistake admitted by them, they decided to turn this into yet another community favor with a simple gift. All of those who meet the requirements by having at least one challenge of 14 days of Fortnite completed will receive the Equalizer Glider as a gift.

This was first announced on the official FortniteGame Twitter Account. You can see the tweet below:

We apologize for communicating the wrong end date for 14 Days of Fortnite on social channels.

To make up for this, players that completed at least one 14 Days Event Challenge will be granted the Equalizer Glider. Eligible players will begin receiving theirs in the near future.

— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) January 2, 2019

If you have forgotten, it’s not just Fortnite in which players can receive free gifts from Epic Games. More precisely, Epic Games has decided to give away permanent game copies on their Launcher throughout the whole year of 2019. The current game available to download is Super Meat Boy.

Also, this move by Epic Games reminds us on the huge Season 6 bug in Fortnite, when players were able to get extra tiers by accomplishing only one challenge. They literally admitted it was their mistake and did not remove the extra 44 tiers from player’s accounts.
