Enlisted launched a D-Day event that might catch your eye if you’ve been eager to relive one of World War II’s most epic battles. Running from June 5th to June 25th, the event allows players to grab rare squads, vehicles, and items tied to the Normandy landings. It’s a terrific way to jump into the action and snag some content that usually takes much longer to unlock.
The “Reinforcements received: Normandy landings” event celebrates the massive Operation Neptune on June 6, 1944. Over 156,000 Allied troops stormed five beaches—Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword—supported by thousands of ships and aircraft. Despite fierce German resistance, especially at Omaha, the Allies secured all five landing sites, opening the Western Front and speeding up Germany’s defeat.
During the event, you’ll earn battle score points to climb a rewards ladder, refreshing tasks every two days at 13:00 UTC. You don’t need to complete every challenge to get the main rewards, which is a nice touch if you’re short on time.
Main Rewards
Among the highlights are two rare self-propelled guns:
- Alecto I (USA, BR II): A British experimental light self-propelled gun built on the Light Tank Mk.VIII chassis. Though it never saw mass production during the war, in Enlisted it’s ready to prove its worth. This vehicle comes without a squad and is available for the 48th Royal Tank Regiment (Tanker II).
- 15 cm sIG 33 B Sfl (Germany, BR II): This German self-propelled gun mounted the heavy 15 cm sIG 33 infantry gun on a Panzer II chassis, which had to be widened and lengthened due to recoil issues. Only a dozen were made by 1942. You can test its firepower in the game; it comes without a squad and is available for the 5th Tank Division (Tanker I).
Tasks can be completed in Squads mode, and after the event ends on June 25th, there’s a short window until June 27th to buy any missed rewards for Gold. The two-day task cycle means you’ll want to collect rewards before new tasks reset or risk losing progress.
Honestly, it’s kinda cool to see these lesser-known vehicles get the spotlight. The Alecto’s backstory made me chuckle—delayed so much it missed the war but now starring in Enlisted? Yikes, talk about a second chance!
