Enlisted Brings Back Premium Japanese Squads to the Shop

Premium Japanese squads return permanently, offering fresh tactical options in Enlisted.

Enlisted players will soon find some familiar faces back in the shop as the developers have decided to make the return of premium Japanese squads permanent. These squads had been removed previously, but now commanders will get to reinforce their armies with these options once again.

The first squad features the iconic Chi-Ha tank (Battle Rating I). This tank operates with a crew of four soldiers and is known for its excellent maneuverability. Rather than relying on heavy armor, the Chi-Ha’s strength lies in speed and tactical positioning, allowing it to flank enemy positions swiftly. It’s a neat reminder that sometimes, being nimble can outmatch brute force on the battlefield.

Next up is the assaulter squad equipped with the Type 1 submachine gun (Battle Rating II). This group can include up to six soldiers: four assaulters and an engineer carrying the Type 1 SMG. There’s also an open slot for either an anti-tank gunner or an additional engineer who can wield weapons you’ve unlocked. Engineers in this squad have access to a variety of buildable structures, such as machine gun nests, anti-aircraft guns, and anti-tank guns. Their mobility, combined with 50-round submachine guns, makes them great for surprising opponents.

Both squads offer tactical diversity that may appeal to players seeking to enhance their strategies. Will speed and versatility be your new go-to? It’s interesting to see these Japanese units back in action, and I’m curious how they’ll disrupt battles this time around.
