Endless Dungeon, the roguelite title from developer Amplitude Studios and publisher SEGA, has had its release date pushed back by five months. Initially scheduled for a May 18, 2023 launch, the game is now set to be released on October 19, 2023.

In a Twitter post, Amplitude Studios shared their decision to postpone the release, citing the need for additional development time to ensure the highest possible quality for the game. The developer aims to provide the best roguelite experience for their community and believes that more work is required to achieve that goal.

During the extended development period, the team will focus on various aspects of the game, including meta-progression, balancing, in-game economy, general polishing, and bug-fixing. The decision comes after valuable feedback received during the OpenDevs events showcasing the game’s potential.

Amplitude Studios expressed gratitude for their community’s continued support and patience, emphasizing the invaluable role that player feedback and involvement have played throughout the development process.

Endless Dungeon was first announced in December 2020 and has since garnered significant attention from gamers worldwide. The closed beta for the game is now set to take place in September 2023. As a token of appreciation, those who pre-order the game will receive three additional skins.

Upon its release, Endless Dungeon will be available on multiple platforms, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development, although no specific release date has been announced yet.

With the extra development time, Amplitude Studios aims to deliver a polished and engaging roguelite experience that will be worth the wait for fans eagerly anticipating the game’s launch.
