Elden Ring Nightreign modders have already created some eye-catching custom skins, including characters like Optimus Prime, Eve from Stellar Blade, and even Sir Alonne from Dark Souls 2. These mods allow players to swap out their models with favorites from other universes, which is cool if you like mixing things up.
You might have seen a 12-minute showcase by user Orange on YouTube, highlighting some of the most impressive skin replacements modders have built for Nightreign. It’s a fun watch if you enjoy seeing fan creativity at work. Unfortunately, these mods aren’t easy to access because they rely on the UXM Selective Unpacker, which is currently hidden due to permission issues the author is addressing.
Still, the work by modder KRDCD stands out. Their Nightreign Custom Model Replacers pack includes a mix of meme-worthy and serious skins: Eve from Stellar Blade, Optimus Prime, and even Yorha Unit 2B from Nier: Automata. CJ from San Andreas hasn’t appeared yet, but honestly, it feels like only a matter of time.
For those who prefer a nod to the Soulsborne series, the Dark Souls Armor Sets mod is a neat addition. It imports various Dark Souls models into Nightreign, including Sir Alonne from Dark Souls 2 as Executor. I find it interesting how this mod uses Alonne’s nagamaki—an elegantly long-hilted sword—rather than Executor’s usual cursed blade. It’s a design I hope FromSoftware revisits someday.
