Elden Ring Nightreign, from FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, is getting a new high-difficulty setting called Deep of Night that arrives on September 11. It cranks up enemy strength, adds exclusive Relics and Gear, and ships with an Endless option so you can keep going until you finally die.
Bandai Namco calls Deep of Night a “High-difficulty challenge mode designed for seasoned players who have navigated through the Night many times.” The publisher also warned that “The enemies that appear are stronger than usual.” You can read Bandai Namco’s announcement for the official wording and details.
If you enjoy being pushed to the limit, this is specifically for you, I must admit, I love that sensation. Deep of Night will also include Relics and Gear exclusive to the mode, which may change how you approach builds and fights.
The update arrives alongside an Endless option that was previously datamined. That Endless option lets you run through nights indefinitely until you finally fall, which sounds brutal and oddly addictive.
