Guide

This quest requires you to dehydrate your body, which can be achieved naturally or forcefully. Other requirements such as map or location are scant, making you eligible to complete this quest on any of them. The first thing to do while you’re on this quest is to learn how to exhaust yourself forcefully. The pursuit is tied solely to your PMCs’ hydration levels, so the energy does not count. So, how to dehydrate yourself in Escape From Tarkov?

Well, there are multiple things you can do. That is eating foods that would drain your hydration level from 100 to 0, and usually, those are the best ways to skip the whole natural dehydration process. You can achieve that with the following items:

  1. A Jar of DevilDog Mayo (-99 hydration)
  2. Can of condensed milk (-65 hydration)
  3. A pack of sugar (-45 hydration)

The Jar of DevilDog mayo is the most effective item since it instantly depletes you to 0. Hence, that would be the best item to bring into the raid if you’re doing this quest. Then, grab yourself a water bottle when you reach the 5-minute mark. Keep in mind that critical hydration levels will also drain your health on each of your body parts. That means you will be slowly dying, and you would need to sustain that with meds. Bring a couple of them, like 2 Salewas or 4 Car Aid Kits.

The best option would be to pair it with the Propital injection, which lasts for 240 seconds. It also acts as a painkiller so that you won’t have vision difficulties or tremors during its duration. You could also delay using the Propital stem for 1 minute, so you align it perfectly with the 5-min mark. I mean, anything would work, honestly. Just don’t forget to bring extra drinks to your raid so you can get your hydration levels back to normal once the quest is done. Good luck!
