EA Sports has revealed the first Team of the Week for EA Sports FC 26, bringing boosted Ultimate Team cards at the game’s early access launch and dropping upgraded forwards, defenders, and midfielders into packs and the in-game transfer market for players who preordered or have EA Play. Players can obtain TOTW cards by opening Ultimate Team packs, and by buying them on the in-game market using coins from the Ultimate Team player market.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland headlines the first TOTW after scoring twice against Manchester United, while Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane notched two goals and an assist against Hamburg SV in Bundesliga action. Due to the rarity of Haaland’s TOTW Ultimate Team card, it has become one of the title’s rarest items. Currently valued around 1.9m Ultimate Team coins, that card sits among the priciest on the EA FC market.
EA FC 26’s first wave of TOTW players will also be available for competitors aiming to play in the FC Pro Open Ladder. Registrations for the tournament starting on September 22nd will open on September 19th.
