EA FC 25 is bringing back the popular Path to Glory cards just in time for the Women’s Euro 2025 tournament, giving players special upgradeable cards tied to real-world performances. This update is one of the last big promos before FC 26 arrives, so let’s check out what’s coming and how these cards level up.
Path to Glory cards will drop on Friday, June 27, 2025, alongside Shapeshifters Team 3, starting at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST. Packs will be available at those times, but there’s no word yet on how long the event will last or if a second squad will come the following week. Curious who’s in? Leaks have already revealed a few names.
How Upgrades Work
These special Path to Glory cards improve based on how their nation performs in the Women’s Euro 2025 tournament. Here’s the rundown:
- Nation scores 3 goals in Group Stage: +1 Overall Rating (OVR)
- Nation reaches Quarter-Finals: 5-star skill moves and weak foot +1, plus an alternate position with all roles
- Nation reaches Semi-Finals: +1 Passing Skill (PS+)
- Nation reaches Final: +1 Overall Rating
- Nation wins the Final: Card becomes 99 OVR with Icon Chemistry
It’s kinda cool how these upgrades tie into actual tournament results, so your card’s progress depends on real matches. Will your favorite player’s nation go all the way? We’ll have to wait and see.
