The LaLiga Team of the Season is dropping in EA FC 25 on May 23, 2025, bringing some of the biggest football names to Ultimate Team. This event is a highlight for fans who love building squads with the season’s best performers from Spain’s top league.
The Team of the Season (TOTS) promo is one of the most anticipated moments in Ultimate Team. After the Premier League and Bundesliga squads have already been revealed, the spotlight now turns to LaLiga. The release will happen alongside the Liga F and Liga Portugal TOTS at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST, with cards in packs for a week before the Saudi Pro League TOTS takes over.
Who’s in the Running?
Forty players have been nominated for the LaLiga TOTS, covering goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and attackers. The community votes decide the final squad, so popularity and in-game effectiveness matter just as much as real-life performance.

Our Predictions
Since the community picks the final squad, popularity and in-game impact are key. Expect Real Madrid to have a strong presence again, especially with Kylian Mbappe leading as LaLiga’s top scorer this season. Thanks to his powerful card and fan support, Vinicius Jr is also likely to make it.
Barcelona, the title winners, should have plenty of players included, too. Raphinha has been a standout, with over 25 goals, making him a near certainty. The young sensation Lamine Yamal, just 17, has impressed massively and will probably have one of the most sought-after cards.
