There have been so many events that indicate an upcoming Battlefield 2042 beta phase on September 4. Streamer schedules, websites claiming the same, all for today EA Help’s Twitter account to say that no official date has yet been confirmed. This doesn’t necessarily contradict the recent rumors, but it takes away the hope from the players.
In a recent response to a question asking for the beta dates posted by Battlefield Roundup, EA Help responded with the following:

Everyone was ready for at least a beta weekend. I guess we’ll have our hopes running at least for a couple more days before they perish. It would be appropriate for Battlefield 2042’s beta has to happen very soon, as Call of Duty already came out with their own first look of Vanguard. If I were to guess, I’d say the EA Help account is messing with us.
