Dying Light 2 is an upcoming survival horror action role-playing game developed and published by Techland as the sequel for the 2015 game. The game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. According to retailer EB Games, Dying Light 2 is set to launch on May 25.
Dying Light 2’s development hasn’t been going smoothly when it got delayed last year. Many problems emerged inside the studio, as writer Chris Avellone was fired for reported sexual harassment allegations, while narrative designer Pawel Selinger left the company in January.
Today, the official Twitter for Dying Light 2 announced that the game would be getting a developer update on March 17th, which is next Wednesday:

The game is set 15 years since humanity lost to the virus. The last great human settlement exists within an unforgiving, infected world, plunged into a modern dark age. During the day, bandits, factions, and starving survivors roam the streets scavenging for scraps – or someone to take them from, by violence if necessary. At night the infected roam free, evacuating their dark hideouts to prey on the living.
