It’s always tough to say goodbye, especially when it comes to a game that has carved out a special place in our hearts. Today, we have bittersweet news for fans of Dungeonborne: the game is set to retire later this year. While it’s never easy to part ways with a cherished title, let’s take a moment to reflect on what this means for players and the community.

Termination Schedule

Dungeonborne will cease operations on May 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM (GMT+8). Here are some important dates you’ll want to keep in mind:

  • 19:00 on May 27, 2025 (GMT-8)
  • 03:00 on May 28, 2025 (GMT+0)
  • 11:00 on May 28, 2025 (GMT+8)

You can continue enjoying the game and utilizing your in-game items until the official shutdown date. However, starting from February 28, new account registrations and in-game purchases will be disabled. So if you’ve been eyeing anything in the shop or any last-minute adventures you wish to embark upon, now’s the time!

Data Retention Policy

The developers have also clarified how they’ll handle player data post-retirement. They may retain personal information as law requires for a certain period after service ends. This is primarily so they can respond adequately if you have any requests regarding your data.

If you’re curious about how long they’ll keep your information or want further details about your rights concerning personal data, check out their Privacy Policy section dedicated to these topics.

Your Rights

As their policy documents outline, players maintain specific rights over their personal data depending on their location. You might have rights such as accessing or erasing the information they hold.

Contact & Complaints

If you have questions about this notice or need assistance regarding Dungeonborne, don’t hesitate to email support@dungeonborne.com. For inquiries specifically related to personal data concerns, contact dpo@dungeonborne.com.

The team at Proxima Beta Pte. Limited expresses gratitude for all the support they’ve received from players during Dungeonborne’s journey and encourages everyone to enjoy their other titles moving forward.

This announcement certainly brings mixed feelings; it’s hard not to reminisce about those late nights spent delving into dungeons with friends or soloing challenging bosses. What was your favorite memory while playing Dungeonborne? Let us know in the comments below!

My job is similar to Angel's, focus on news and updates, even though most of my work is taking care of two little devils. I am here to cover when most needed, and try to deliver the best I can. It's my fault pushing Angel to reboot ConsolePCGaming.com Wish me luck <3.
