Dune: Awakening has added community items to its Steam presence, letting players earn trading cards, craft and upgrade badges, and collect profile rewards. The set is available now on Steam for players who want to personalise their profiles with Arrakis-themed art.
Trading cards drop while playing, with each card representing one part of a set. Collect a complete set by playing and trading with other players, then craft the set into a badge. Crafting or upgrading a badge grants random rewards such as emoticons and profile backgrounds, and Steam Points can be used to buy animated frames, avatars, and extra backgrounds from the Steam Points Shop.
The full collection includes:
- 10 trading cards
- 6 tiers of badges
- 3 animated profile backgrounds
- 3 still profile backgrounds
- 5 emoticons
- 4 avatars
- 10 frames
Players can display House allegiance and specialty on their profiles, and the collection includes art that nods to locations such as Hagga Basin. For completionists, this gives another way to show time spent on Arrakis, and for anyone who likes a themed profile, there are several animated options to choose from.
