Sleepers, the first-ever building contest for Dune: Awakening just wrapped up, and wow, the turnout was huge! Thousands of players shared their creations, showing off serious creativity and effort. The devs spent a lot of time checking out videos, screenshots, and even the backstories some folks wrote to go with their builds.
Picking winners wasn’t easy at all. After lots of back-and-forth, the team chose the top entries based on their criteria. They also gave out several honorary mentions to recognize more great builds. If your build didn’t get featured here, don’t sweat it. Posting on social media, the official Discord, or the subreddit is still a great way to share your work and get noticed!
Winners will get some neat prizes like the LEGO Ornithopter and an Atreides Battle Rifle skin. If you won through Pimp My Dune, expect an email soon. Others will get a DM from the official Dune: Awakening account. Shout-out to Lent and Madrinas for supporting and sponsoring the contest prizes.
Here are the first place winners:
Choam
“A trade center run by CHOAM mercantiles. It has two watch towers, one at the peak of the center to watch for incoming sand storms in the distance, and another on the ground to watch for sand worms attacking from below. Its distinct pyramid prepare helps protect the building from high winds and sand erosion over the years. Attached is a visitor center, for people to relax while doing their trade business deals.” – Saphiria, Pimp My Dune
Harkonnen
“It was built and altered, piece by piece, over many years and through many conflicts. It has been a factory, it has been a smuggler’s post, it has been a church. It might still be all these things or none of these things.” – Fiefie, Pimp My Dune
Atreides
The Windchime Monastery, working as a school for the Atreides, houses vast knowledge from combat techniques to the ancient history of the great houses. One could say it even tops the Imperium’s prestigious schools. The school has four buildings: Main Dormitory (tallest tower), Main Library (second tallest tower), Watch Tower (second shortest tower), and Main Lecture Hall (shortest tower), with an outside dining balcony.
