The International, Dota 2‘s most prestigious annual tournament, is set to return to Seattle this October, promising to be the most impressive iteration of the event yet. The city’s Climate Pledge Arena will host the largest audience in the event’s history, making The International 2023 a truly monumental occasion.

The International 2023 will kick off with the group stage on Saturday, October 14, followed by the playoffs. These two events will be united under a single banner: The Road to the International. Valve has teased further details about this tournament aspect, promising more information in the coming weeks.

The main event will begin on Friday, October 27, and run through Sunday, October 29. Teams from around the globe will vie for the coveted Aegis, a symbol of ultimate mastery in the world of Dota 2.

Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena boasts a capacity of over 17,000 spectators. Fans will be able to experience the electrifying atmosphere first-hand, while millions more will watch the event unfold via livestreams and broadcasts.

The choice to hold The International 2023 in Seattle carries significant weight, as the city has strong ties to the gaming industry and is known for its vibrant tech scene. This connection is expected to result in an unparalleled level of organization and a unique experience for those in attendance. The event also represents a homecoming, as the first International took place in Seattle in 2011.
