Guess what, gamers? The classic Dino Crisis and its sequel have made their triumphant return on GOG! If you were pining for those heart-pounding dino encounters from the early 2000s, now’s your chance to relive the thrill. These beloved titles are back and ready to roar!
The original PC versions of Dino Crisis (2000) and Dino Crisis 2 (2002) had been MIA from modern digital storefronts until now. After years of searching, it’s like finding an old favorite game in your attic! Capcom has finally listened to the fans’ cries for revival, making both titles available for purchase at $11.37 each or bundled together for $19.35.
What’s cool is that these ports have been polished up a bit! Both games come with new rendering options, an improved DirectX renderer, support for modern controllers, smooth video playback, cloud save capabilities, plus extra stability and bug fixes. I mean, who wouldn’t want smoother gameplay while being chased by a T-Rex?
The only thing louder than the dinosaurs' roars were the voices of gamers worldwide demanding the return of a survival horror classic 🩸
We've listened—the legendary Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are back, fully playable on modern PCs!

The original Dino Crisis has received some exciting upgrades too! Its rendering resolution is now boosted to 4K, along with enhanced color depth of 32-bit. Plus, players can enjoy modes like Original, Arrange, and Operation Wipe Out. As for *Dino Crisis 2*, it features improved item rendering and fogging effects, Easy mode, and some fun extras like Dino Colosseum.
Both games are part of GOG’s Preservation Program, an important initiative to keep classic titles alive on modern systems even when developers stop supporting them. With this program in place, these classics will remain accessible forever! Each game will have a unique stamp showing its part of this program, and players can check out how GOG worked their magic through a preservation log.
You might be thrilled to know that the original PC ports of Resident Evil 1–3 are also included in this preservation effort. So if you’re feeling nostalgic or just curious about survival horror history, you can grab all five major PS1 survival horror gems from Capcom, now that’s quite a collection!
If you’re as excited as I am about diving back into these dinosaur-infested adventures (no pun intended), head over to GOG to grab them before they stomp off again! What do you think? Are you ready to face those terrifying reptiles once more? Let me know your thoughts below!
