With the COVID-19 outbreak, multiple events from the video game industry have been canceled. E3 2020, whose absence was inevitable due to the virus outbreak, caused multiple video game publishers to host their digital event, broadcasted on some favorite live streaming channels. While a couple of publishers have already hosted digital events to showcase their upcoming video game lineup, there are more to follow throughout June.
It’s time for digitalization, no word. Aside from Microsoft and Sony and their preparation to present both Xbox Series X and PS5, for which they’re confident will take place in digital form, there are multiple other events to surprise. Already scheduled, take a look at a couple of digital events coming this June.
PC Gaming Show – June 6
PC Gamer’s annual event is still on the calendar, escorted by the help of GamesRadar, Guerilla Collective, Paradox Interactive.
EA Play Live – June 11
Electronic Arts’ infamous live event turns digital as well. EA Play’s Live broadcast is scheduled to showcase new game reveals, features and updates. Maybe this is when we’ll hear more about Anthem’s remake, which as a rumor, has been present in public for an extended period.
Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire – June 11
CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 will also get another showcase in which devs will discover more details about the game. As noticed, the most anticipated game for 2020, Cyberpunk 2077, in expectancy to set few records never reached before.
Day of the Devs – June 22, July 20
Geoff Keighley, the creator of The Game Awards, will be a part of a new society. Day of the Devs encourages developer showcase that will gather both AAA and Indie developers at one spot. The first showcase is planned for June 20, while the second will take place slightly bit later, on July 20. Confirmed devs to attend the showcase:

New Game Plus Expo – June 23
The New Game Plus Expo will take place on Twitch, with a broadcast starting on June 23. Japanese video game developers will have the majority of the 14 developers and publishers set to attend the event. SEGA will also be a part of the event, which is considered to be a favorite among the others.
BitSummit Gaiden – June 27
The event serves to bring indie developers closer. More than 80 developers are estimated to be a part of the event. This is the first digitalization of the BitSummit Gaiden, Japanese most popular video game event.
