Diablo Immortal launches in China, reaches #1 on iOS download chart on day one

No more delays.

Blizzard’s free-to-play Diablo immortal finally launches in China approximately one month after its initial designated launch date. The game had around 15 million pre-registrations which helped it reach #1 on the iOS download chart for apps during its first day of availability.

This was confirmed by Daniel Ahmad, known for his coverage of the video games market in China. Diablo Immortal also became the #50 most popular game on the China games live streaming tracker.

Just a quick heads-up, Diablo III was the fastest-selling premium game in China. Blizzard has a good reputation in the country, but it still needs more time to evaluate the reception of Diablo Immortal.
