Patch 2.4.1 for Diablo 4 goes live today, offering another round of fixes while Blizzard prepares a Public Test Realm. Community director Adam Fletcher confirmed the rollout and said PTR previews will arrive soon, with a focus on Masterworking, Tempering, combat, and Renown system adjustments. Fletcher shared a timing update and a short thread on X, noting that the PTR will arrive a bit earlier than usual, allowing the team to gather player feedback before the next season.

The planned PTR changes sound comprehensive and extensive. Masterworking and Tempering are called out by name, with Combat and Renown receiving attention as well. Blizzard described it as a critical PTR where community input will help shape the balance and system updates. Blizzard has also been revisiting the Reliquary system in recent weeks, Fletcher replied when asked about it on X, saying the feature missed its original timeline but is not being ignored.
We've been meeting on it over the last few weeks some more. So its still being discussed and figured out. Didn't happen on original timelines but isnt a thing being ignored.
