If you’re an Xbox player looking for something to do this weekend, Microsoft has got you covered. Microsoft is giving all Xbox players a chance to dive into Diablo 4 for free as part of its ongoing Free Play Days promotion.
Starting now and running until Sunday, October 22, at 11.59 p.m. PT (October 23 at 2.59 a.m. ET / 7.59 a.m. BST), you can experience Diablo 4 at no additional cost. You don’t even need a Game Pass subscription to enjoy the game; it’s available to all Xbox members.
While the offer is tempting, there is a time limit to consider. Microsoft has specified that gameplay is restricted to 10 hours. So, make sure to plan your time in the game wisely.
Diablo 4 recently introduced its Season 2, named “Season of Blood,” which launched on October 17. This update also aligns with the game’s release on Steam. The new season brings a questline where players can team up with a vampire hunter, voiced by actress Gemma Chan.
For those using a console, navigate to the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and then go to the Free Play Days collection on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. The weekend offers more variety if you have a Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate subscription. You can also try out NBA 2K24, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Hokko Life. These additional games are also available until the same end time on Sunday.
If you enjoy Diablo 4 and want to continue playing, Microsoft offers the game at a discounted price. Your achievements and Gamerscore from the trial will carry over if you buy the entire game.
