Diablo 4 Hardcore Players Can Be Immortalized in Epic Blizzard Challenge

Diablo 4

Blizzard Entertainment is about to allow Diablo 4 players to attain the kind of immortality most heroes of Sanctuary can only dream about. In an unprecedented move, the company has announced a unique challenge: the first 1,000 players to reach level 100 on Hardcore Mode will have their names etched on a statue of the game’s character, Lilith.

For those unfamiliar, Hardcore Mode is an intense and unforgiving version of Diablo 4 where character death is permanent. The character is wiped out entirely upon death, forcing the player to restart the game from level 1. This mode demands skill, endurance, and strategic planning from players.

Blizzard’s official Diablo Twitter account recently posted about the Diablo 4 Hardcore Victories contest. Players who believe they can cheat digital death are asked to tweet their proof using the hashtag #Diablo4Hardcore after they hit level 100.

But hold your spectral horses! There are several terms and conditions that one needs to comply with to be eligible for this otherworldly honor. The challenge is open only to players 18 years or older, residents of regions where the challenge is not prohibited, maintain a good-standing Battle.net account, own a Diablo 4 license, and have not been part of the pre-release review of the game in May 2023.

The offer begins on June 1st, 2023, at 4:00 PM PT and will end on September 1, 2023, at 11:59 PM PT, or when 1,000 eligible players have claimed the offer, whichever comes first.
