Destiny 2 won’t be available for 24 hours

Bungie is planning to shut down Destiny 2: Shadowkeep servers for a longer period. This will be due to the maintenance period and its first free-to-play offer. The maintenance period will strap Destiny 2 for a 24-hour absence. The important fact is that this maintenance window will allow everyone to play New Light for free.

The maintenance period will start at 1 PM EDT. Meaning, the game will completely return online and available to play on Tuesday. So, if you’re an existing Guardian, it may hurt your entertaining level for a bit, while if you’re an upcoming one, you should get ready to set your true existence. Just as a reminder, whenever the servers come back up, the two new releases will also become available.

Destiny 2: New Light launches October 1, 2019 and is free to play on every supported platform.

This change also sounds the swap of the Battle.Net Launcher, which will no longer be used to play Destiny 2, knowing that Bungie has decided to completely swap to Steam. Now that they have everything under control without outside ideas that shatter the integrity, we’re looking forward to seeing what Bungie can develop.

So far, so good. Everything is as promised. Being its own developer and publisher feels good, isn’t it?
