Destiny 2 Open Beta starts early on PS4, later on Xbox One and latest on PC – Check out what’s included

Bungie and their special agreement with PlayStation will offer the beta a bit earlier on the PS4 platform and will come 1 day later on the Xbox One. PlayStation 4 owners must be extremely satisfied while others are seemingly frustrated because of this issue. However, Destiny 2 Beta starts on July 18 for every PS4 user that has the game pre-ordered. Still, on July 19 Xbox One users with a pre-ordered version of Destiny 2 will get their chance to taste what PS4 users already played for a whole day. It’s better if we avoid talking about the PC users, because they’re the most disappointed at this very moment.

The beta edition of Destiny 2 will offer different play modes. As PlayStation 4 discovered, players will get a chance to try the very first mission in Destiny 2’s campaign. Players will also have the chance to go to the Crucible, where the multiplayer games are shaped with an opportunity to experience the new game mode, Countdown.

Despite the different platforms, there should not be any differences in terms of gameplay. Everything that Bungie offers throughout this beta should be available on every platform, the very same content.

Throughout the beta, you’ll also get the chance to see how Strike is working, including the new matchmaking system which allows you to find and team up with a Guardian team. This new matchmaking system was also presented on this year’s E3, explaining that it should lot better for players to find teammates to play with, especially when it comes down to raids. New Subclasses will also be available and each class’s new fighting style should be available in the Open Beta.

The question that bothers everyone else is probably how to get invited to the Open Beta? Well, pre-ordering Destiny 2 will surely get you into the Open Beta. Others will get a chance to attend the Technical Test of Destiny 2. However, the most annoying thing is that the PC users are left behind. I definitely love to play Destiny 2 on a PC, and hopefully, I’ll get the chance to taste that really soon. Yet, Destiny 2’s PC Beta starts in August, so you better find something interesting to do in order to avoid these painful moments.

As far as my personal thoughts about teaming up with Blizzard, that should be one of the best moves Bungie and Activision have ever done.
