The Destiny 2 Edge of Fate livestream is scheduled to reveal the next year of content for Bungie’s popular looter shooter MMO. With the current Heresy season wrapping up, this event will give players a glimpse of what lies ahead, including new activities and updates. It’s an important moment as the game transitions from its episodic seasonal format.

The stream will take place just before the launch of the Rite of the Nine event, which invites players to revisit past dungeons to earn refreshed perks and adept weapons. While the future of Destiny 2’s seasons remains uncertain, especially with development focusing on the upcoming Marathon reboot, this livestream promises to shed light on what players can expect.

Destiny 2 Edge of Fate Livestream Details

The livestream will air on Tuesday, May 6, with times varying by region:

  • Western US: 9 am PT
  • Eastern US: 12 pm ET
  • UK: 5 pm BST
  • Europe: 6 pm CET
  • Australia: 2 am AEST (May 7)

You can watch the event through several channels:

  • Destiny 2 YouTube channel
  • Bungie Twitch channel

These livestreams typically showcase all the content planned for the upcoming year, but this one carries extra weight as it marks the end of the episodic seasonal structure. It’s a chance to see how Bungie plans to move forward, especially with Marathon development likely taking center stage.

While the exact scope of future content remains unclear, the livestream will provide helpful insights and hopefully answer many questions Destiny 2 players have been asking.

Feel free to share your thoughts and expectations in the comments below. What are you hoping to see in the next year of Destiny 2?
