Did you want rock-n-roll? We’ll you’re about to get it in Dead Island’s 2 Festival DLC, which is scheduled to arrive on April 17. The latest announcement regarding the new DLC has arrived from the game’s official X account.
This DLC will arrive in just a year after the original launch of Dead Island 2 in April 2023. Dambuster Studios recently confirmed that Dead Island 2 is also making its way to Steam on April 22nd, which is going to be available for a huge amount of consumers.
The release of this DLC is important with the Steam port of the game and combines these two events quite well. Before this announcement, there was speculation that the Sola Festival DLC would be a Q2 2024 release, but it turned out quite the opposite.

Even though the trailer for the Sola Festival DLC is still missing, the developer shared some promotional art in their latest tweet, which should excite the player base. As per the revealed, new adventures, zombies, and storyline twists are expected once the Sola Festival DLC lands.
