DC Universe Online coming to Nintendo Switch this summer

Another partnership to reincarnate the MMO genre on the Nintendo Switch. With a chance to choose between being the Villan or the Hero, Marvel and Nintendo have teamed up to bring DC Universe Online on the Nintendo Switch, as its announcement just came online.

Coming out of the PS3 era, the game as you already know is full of content and a variety of missions that will spice up the gameplay experience. The port of DC Universe Online to the PS4 and Xbox One has been successful, leading the developers to expand this title to the Nintendo Switch.

The sad part is that it won’t count in fully enabled cross-play between all the platforms, just because of PlayStation’s limitations. This is not the first time PlayStation forbidding cross-play with their platform as it happened in other video games too.

As an MMO, players will get the chance to upgrade their character by completing missions, thus receive more powerful abilities on the way through. The game offers both PvE and PvP content, for which most of the fans say is a bit brutal.

Below you can find the official announcement as DC Universe Online is coming closer to release on the Nintendo Switch. The official time span of release is Summer 2019.
