Dauntless is a free-to-play action RPG game developed by Phoenix Labs and published and distributed by Epic Games. The game is very similar to Capcom’s Monster Hunter games, so if you’ve ever wanted to play a Monster Hunter game (other than Monster Hunter: World) on PC, Dauntless is the way to go.
Dauntless Reforged is the next-gen version for Dauntless, coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 3rd. The new version includes improved versions of the Hunting Grounds and a complete rework to the progression system.
Dauntless got released back in 2019 for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch with decent critical acclaim. It has its own unique world with a lot of stuff to do. Just like in Monster Hunter, you play as a beast slayer on a quest to cleanse the Shattered Isles from these new creatures. After killing the beasts, you can acquire new materials to craft different types of unique gear.
