Cyberpunk 2077, the most anticipated Sci-Fi RPG game for 2020, developed by CD Projekt Red, is getting closer to its release date. Being just a day away from its official launch, Cyberpunk’s Preload option is already available on all platforms. The delays are gone for the greater good, and we’re ready to step into Night City and take a big role in its underbelly.
The game will become available to play in 1 day and 2 hours from the time of this writing. December 10 is the day when the game will become fully available to play. But, let’s dive into a more detailed overview of preloading, download size, and other additional info on different platforms.
Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and Stadia
- The only PC digital retailers from which Cyberpunk 2077 can be purchased are Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
- The preload is already available, and Cyberpunk 2077’s download size is ~59GB, give or take on different retailers.
- The game will be playable at midnight GMT, December 10.
- Google’s streaming service platform, Stadia, requires no downloads whatsoever, and the game will be available to play at the same time as PC.
Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation

Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox
- The preload of Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is already available. The download size is similar to the PC one, and it’s around ~59GB.
- The game will be playable at midnight local time, December 10.
Keep in mind that all of the downloads are locked behind a pre-order, so you have to purchase the game before you pre-load. Night City will become your favorite spot in which freedom is highly valued but hard to get. With body modification being an obsession in the futuristic 2077, it’s up to you to choose your upgrades. I almost forgot, please don’t get an x-Ray vision. It’s somewhat rude.
