Cyberpunk 2077 patch 2.3 will launch on July 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, but the Nintendo Switch 2 version will come a bit later. Developer CD Projekt Red confirmed the update is definitely coming to the new Switch platform, though it requires some extra time before release.
Senior community manager Amelia Korzycka mentioned during the latest REDstream that the Switch 2 will “join the family with the 2.3 update,” but they need “a few more hours, a few more times, a few more days.” It’s a vague timeline, but it sounds like the wait won’t be too long.
If you’re on PS4 or Xbox One, unfortunately, patch 2.3 won’t be coming your way. CD Projekt Red has already moved on from last-gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077, so those players might want to adjust expectations.
Cyberpunk 2077 launched on Switch 2 at the console’s debut, and patch 2.3 brings a nice boost with new vehicles and photo mode features, giving players a good reason to jump back in. The Switch 2’s library is growing quickly, and Cyberpunk 2077 remains one of its standout titles early on.
