Cyberpunk 2077 Mod Resolves Skill Progression Rewards Bug

CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is getting some exciting mods. Some are inspired by gameplay, and others, believe it or not, by bugs. Recently, there has been a bug that left players missing out on 16 skill progression rewards. And the fix for it, a mod that has come to the rescue.

With the release of Patch 2.01, Cyberpunk 2077 players eagerly downloaded the update in hopes of a smoother gaming experience. While the patch fixed numerous issues and enhanced performance across various platforms, it also brought along an unintended problem, a bug that prevented the application of 16 skill progression rewards. This issue surfaced when players attempted to load a save created with the latest patch.

Moreover, another glitch had plagued the game since version 2.0, preventing skill rewards from being applied upon reloading the game. These problems left gamers frustrated and wondering if they would ever fully enjoy the rewards their in-game characters had earned.

A dedicated mod has been created to address these issues and give players the rewards they deserve. This mod offers a practical fix for the skill progression rewards bug introduced in Patch 2.01. The skill progression rewards affected by this bug are crucial to character development and gameplay. Players were unable to receive the following rewards:

  • Headhunter: Levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 55, and 60.
  • Netrunner: Level 20.
  • Shinobi: Levels 20, 40, 45, 50, and 55.
  • Solo: Levels 40 and 45.
  • Engineer: Level 40.

With these rewards out of reach, players were left with a sense of frustration as their characters’ progression was stunted.

For those interested in getting their hands on this essential mod, it’s readily available for download from Nexus Mods. Here’s the link to access the mod. Additionally, it requires the redscript to ensure the mod works as intended.
