Valve released the Dead Hand Collection on March 14, 2026, adding 17 community-designed skins to Counter-Strike 2 and introducing the first new glove models the game has seen since 2020. The collection mixes gilded, regal finishes with street-style graffiti and industrial motifs. It is a Terminal-exclusive series, meaning players must unlock a Sealed Dead Hand Terminal to access the dealer’s offers rather than opening a standard case.

What’s in the Dead Hand Collection

The Dead Hand Collection includes these 17 weapon finishes:

  • Glock-18 | Fully Tuned
  • AWP | Queen’s Gambit
  • P90 | Deathgaze
  • P250 | Kintsugi
  • AK-47 | Crane Flight
  • MP9 | Urban Sovereign
  • MP7 | Amberline
  • M4A1-S | Electrum
  • Galil AR | Galigator
  • Desert Eagle | Firebreathing
  • USP-S | Silent Shot
  • UMP-45 | Fragment
  • Sawed-Off | Fusion
  • PP-Bizon | RMX
  • M4A4 | Zubastick
  • M249 | Bock Blocks
  • Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer

How the Terminal system works

Dead Hand follows the same Terminal model Valve used for earlier drops. Sealed Terminals appear in the rank-up reward pool and can be obtained simply by earning XP and choosing rewards when you level up. When a Terminal is used from your inventory you’ll meet Booth, the game’s arms dealer, who shows a handful of purchase options priced according to rarity and condition. Each Terminal lets you buy only one skin, so players often wait until a favorite appears.

If you don’t receive a Sealed Terminal through level rewards, unopened Terminals are tradeable. You can buy a Sealed Dead Hand Terminal on the Steam Community Market via the official listing if you prefer a direct route to opening one. For background on how Valve rolled out the Terminal mechanic with the earlier Genesis collection, see the CS2 September 17 update coverage.
