Valve introduces optional Supplemental Terms for releasing Counter-Strike 2 Workshop items on December 5, 2025, and the change arrives after recent work on a CS2 beta build. The new Supplemental Terms let Steam users license eligible Workshop creations for flat fees. Listed prices are $35,000 for a weapon finish and $6,000 each for a sticker or a charm. Accounts that accept the terms can have all of their Workshop items distributed in places where community items were previously unavailable, including The Armory.
Valve links the legal details under the Workshop agreement, and the page is available as the Supplemental Terms for the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop tool. Alongside the licensing option, Valve opened a Call to Arms submission window and listed themes developers want for an upcoming update. Weapon finishes in the Call to Arms should draw from Arabesque Art and Arabian Mythology or Spy/Tech. Sticker themes are Auto Racing and Fruits and Vegetables. Creators must re-submit existing Workshop items and tag them with the new options using the updated Workshop tool.
