Counter-Strike competition saw a roster change after Spirit signed Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich from HEROIC. The swap replaces Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia, who requested a move to the bench after two years with Spirit, and arrives during an off-season reshuffle following mixed results at top events.
tN1R arrives after eight months with HEROIC, a tenure that began after Linus “nilo” Bergman stepped away from competition earlier in the year, and gives Spirit a new go-to rifler option. Roster change.
Myroslav “zont1x” was promoted from Spirit’s academy in July 2023 alongside Artem “ArtFr0st” Kharitonov and Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, and he won major trophies in his first full rookie year including IEM Katowice, the BLAST Spring Final and the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
Spirit added Ivan “zweih” Gogin earlier during the summer break and replaced Boris “magixx” Vorobiev with him; despite immediate success, trophies at IEM Cologne and BLAST Bounty Season 2 Finals, the organisation has opted for a second change ahead of more stacked international events where teams like MOUZ and Vitality regularly occupied higher finishes.
The 24-year-old posted a 1.19 rating on LAN across 74 maps while at HEROIC, a mark that made him the clear star for that squad and that Spirit will now lean on as they recalibrate roles and strategies heading into the next stretch of tournaments.
With tN1R in and zont1x moved to the bench, Spirit’s active roster now lists:
Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov
Danil “donk” Kryshkovets
Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov
Ivan “zweih” Gogin
Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich
Sergey “hally” Shavaev (coach)
Boris “magixx” Vorobiev (benched)
Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia (benched)
How Spirit adapt their in-game setup and which maps tN1R will play most often are the immediate questions; fans and analysts will be watching the first competitive weeks with interest.
