Developed and published by The Molasses Flood, Drake Hollow is an action village builder in which you build a village for vegetable people, the Drakes, and then defend it from feral beasts, ready to scarf down your villagers. Today, it was announced that Drake Hollow would be coming to PC October 1st, via Steam and the Microsoft Store.
In Drake Hollow, you’re transported to the world of the Drakes, known as the Hollow. The player takes on the role of a leader and helps and organizes his Drakes, taking them from region to region during different seasons, until he finds an area in which they can settle in for that season.
Players can either work alone or in a team of 4 in immersive co-op gameplay with which you’ll have to work together and make the right decisions to defend the Drakes. Drake Hollow was first announced during Microsoft’s X019 Showcase and later launched on Xbox One June 19th.
CEO and Creative Director for The Molasses Flood, Forrest Dowling stated:
Our aim was to create a game experience that brims with heart, is both musically and visually enticing, and has at its core rock-solid systems-based gameplay. We hope players find Drake Hollow to be as fun and unique as we designed it to be!
