Citizen Sleeper, the acclaimed narrative RPG from Jump Over the Age, is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 31st. The game, previously released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch, will be available on both PS4 and PS5 platforms.
Citizen Sleeper is set on Erlin’s Eye, a ruined space station home to thousands of people trying to survive on the edges of an interstellar capitalist society. Players take on the role of a Sleeper, a digitized human consciousness in an artificial body owned by a corporation that wants them back. The game is inspired by Tabletop Roleplaying games and uses Dice, Clocks, and Drives. In each cycle, players use the dice they are dealt to choose what to do with their time, make or break alliances, uncover truths, and escape their hunters to survive and ultimately thrive one cycle at a time.
The game’s third and final free DLC episode, PURGE, will go live on March 30th for all platforms, concluding the late-game storyline. This episode caps off the three-episode arc that began with FLUX and continued in REFUGE, offering more characters, lore, and locations.
In Citizen Sleeper, players eventually learn to use their dice to hack into the station’s cloud to access decades of digital data, uncover new areas, and unlock secrets. This is their unique power, and they can change their future with it. Corporate secrets, rogue AIs, and troves of lost data await those willing to dive into the depths of the station’s networks.
Those who have never played the game can pick it up for 30 percent off on existing platforms when the PURGE episode launches. PlayStation players can purchase the game on March 31st for a 20 percent discount.
