Hello trainers! It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Pokémon TCG Pocket as we kick off the first Wonder Pick event of 2025. This time, our beloved fire and water starters, Charmander and Squirtle, are taking center stage with brand-new promo cards you won’t want to miss!
The event runs in two parts, beginning on January 7th and stretching all the way to January 29th. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to collect these charming cards through various missions while snagging some nifty exchange items themed around Blue and Blastoise.

What’s New?
You can look forward to getting your hands on those adorable (and powerful!) PROMO CARDS for Charmander and Squirtle!. They will show up through Chansey Picks or Bonus Picks. Here’s a little heads-up: whenever your Wonder Pick refreshes in-game, you might spot a new Bonus Pick or even a Chansey Pick available for selection. How cool is that?
The bonus picks are free but do keep in mind that claiming a Chansey pick requires two Wonder Stamina points. If you’re lucky enough to get your hands on them, they’ll exclusively feature Bulbasaur or Magnemite promo cards—while the Bonus Picks can include any event tickets or special items too.
The promo cards from this event will sport unique Chansey icons along with being reprints from the Genetic Apex set—so they’re definitely worth adding to your collection!
