CDPR Has No Clue If Sony Would Lift the PS Store Ban on Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red has no clue if Sony will lift the PS Store ban on Cyberpunk 2077. To be precise, no one’s certain if the game would ever arrive back at the store, but multiple indications show that it probably will, judging by the recent updates that have brought the game to a better place. But when exactly would that occur?

According to Adam Kiciński, the company’s president and joint CEO, CDPR has no clue if this event would ever occur or if Cyberpunk 2077 would ever arrive. During a shareholder meeting on Tuesday, this was concluded where Adam Kiciński also stated that they are in constant talks with Sony, and the game gets better and better with every patch.

“Unfortunately, I have no new information in this regard. We are still in discussions, and with every patch, the game gets better, and there is visible progress. As we said, the decision is an exclusive decision of Sony, so we are waiting for the information about the fact that they took the decision to bring back this game. Until then, I am not able to tell you anything more.”

The final answer has Sony, just as previously stated in an article, but it’s more likely to see the game arrive rather than not unless it taps in the same spot after each update. You know, like banging your head against the wall hoping that you’ll crush it, but none of that occurs. That is less likely a scenario to be seen in this case, as CDPR is continuously working on Cyberpunk 2077.

But even if Sony lifts the PS Store ban, what then? No matter how crucial a role CDPR has in this, didn’t Cyberpunk 2077 sell in humongous amounts before Sony pulled the game off the PS Store? Guess what? There haven’t been that many refunds after the removal from the PS Store, which means fans, at that time, were “satisfied with the product and ability to play the game”, no matter the flaws.
