CD Projekt Red says it added staff across its projects in its latest hiring report, boosting teams for The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2. Between April 30 and July 31, 2025, the studio’s headcount rose to 799 employees, with new hires placed across development and shared services.
The company presentation linked in the earnings materials shows CD Projekt hired 69 new employees during that period, distributed across nearly every internal team and project; the presentation is available as the company presentation.
The headcount changes in the slide deck include a move from 422 to 444 developers for The Witcher 4 and growth in Cyberpunk 2 from 96 to 116 developers. Project Sirius increased from 48 to 51, Project Hadar grew from 19 to 22, and the grouping listed as “other projects” rose from 14 to 17.
The report also shows that the Shared Services team, which supports QA, data, localization, and other cross-project functions, has risen from 131 to 149 people, suggesting that the studio is adding operational capacity alongside its production staff.
The report frames this as part of ongoing work across several major titles while shoring up support teams. The raw numbers indicate a modest increase in staffing for projects that remain under development, although the presentation provides only headcount snapshots rather than schedules or new release windows.
