Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Season 4 Update Size Is Ridiculous

With the official launch of Modern Warfare’s Season 4, players are becoming shocked. There’s no sufficient evidence of any data or content included in the game that requires this huge update size. Season 4 has charmed the Xbox community with another 84 GB of update size, which has shortly become a trending topic on Twitter.

In any other game, you very rarely see update sizes of this caliber. Even the tiniest update developed by Infinity Ward sometimes requires users to download a massive portion of the game, if not the whole game, all over. Like we’re in a neverending war with what’s commonly supposed to be reliability and sustain players’ bandwidth/limit/speed so they could enjoy the game.

It is not the first time this is happening, for which this constitutional frustration was born. The trolls didn’t miss the chance to express themselves regarding the latest Season 4 update size in Modern Warfare. They have every right to be harsh on the developer just because the oversized updates are making the game unplayable, or better yet, hesitant to those who once cheered MW and Warzone.

Personally, I too have close friends who cannot bear with the game size in general, without taking the update sizes in perspective. Has Infinity Ward ever asked how many players are not playing or stopped playing CoD: Modern Warfare and Warzone due to this issue?
