Veterans Day arrives with a new in‑game way to back veterans in Call of Duty. The Call of Duty Endowment Legacy Tracer Pack, built around the story of U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient Danielle Green, will launch November 14th inside Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and will appear in Call of Duty: Warzone when Season 1 goes live. Activision will direct 100% of its net proceeds from the pack to the Call of Duty Endowment as the charity moves toward its goal of helping 200,000 veterans find high-quality jobs by 2030.
Why Danielle Green is at the center of the pack
Danielle Green is the human story behind the cosmetics. She was injured in combat in 2004 and has since focused on helping fellow service members make the jump into civilian careers. The pack was created in close collaboration with Danielle, so the visual design and narrative beats reflect her experience and resilience. Open Bionics partnered on the effort to produce a Hero RGD prosthetic that draws on the pack’s look and the story that inspired it.
Call of Duty and the Endowment are also using the release as a fundraising moment outside the game. Partnerships include rideshare donations through Lyft, an in-store round-up campaign at Pilot Flying J travel centers running through December 1st 2025, and a Gillette Antiperspirant tie-in that granted players extra 2XP during the recent C.O.D.E. Bowl VI.
Lyft riders can open the Lyft app, go to the menu, select Donate, and pick the Call of Duty Endowment to round up fares. Pilot Flying J will let guests round purchases up to the nearest dollar or donate preset amounts at participating locations and the Endowment will receive 100% of funds donated during the campaign window. Since 2019 Pilot and its guests have contributed more than $5.2 million and helped more than 8,000 veterans find civilian jobs.
Free pack redemption and other ways to support
USAA has partnered to provide a free C.O.D.E. Legacy Tracer Pack for U.S. service members and veterans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and at Warzone Season 1 launch. Claiming the free pack redirects to a GovX sign-in flow for verification. Quantities are limited and terms apply. The official sweepstakes rules and entry details are available on the Endowment sweepstakes page.
Players who want to support without buying cosmetics can donate directly or use the partner channels mentioned above. The Endowment today reports it has helped place about 165,000 veterans into high-quality jobs across the U.S. and U.K. since its founding 16 years ago.
Black Ops 7 is also coming to Xbox Game Pass day one for console subscribers which may make it easier for more players to access the pack on launch day and contribute, as covered in our Black Ops 7 day-one Game Pass coverage.
The in-game release is short and focused. The pack lands November 14th. The charity work and the extra ways to give will continue through the holiday period with partners listed in the Endowment post.
