Bungie Reportedly Working on a New FPS Mobile Game

It’s no secret that the Mobile FPS genre is expanding, and Bungie is seemingly striving to grasp the chance to lap in on it too. Recently, a rumor has started whirling the internet that Bungie is working on a currently unannounced FPS Mobile Game title, which could easily become truthful.

The initial report comes from The Game Post, which states that a NetEase employee has noted this on their official LinkedIn page. Apparently, Bungie is their partner in the creation of the announced FPS mobile game. To solidify this statement, Bungie was seeking for Senior Mobile Platforms Engineer through its job listings, which speaks for itself.

NetEase, one of China’s largest video game companies, is partnering up with Bungie. The news was initially reported by sources “with knowledge” of this project. It revealed that it had been in development for over two years and is probably unrelated to Bungie’s current flagship series. As such, neither company has made any official announcements yet.

NetEase Games is well known for its mobile titles on the market, one of the biggest nowadays, which asserts their professional skills in creating these sorts-of experiences on small screens. Handheld devices are slowly becoming the absolute gaming epicenter. Is there a slight chance this could be related to a mobile version of Destiny? Express your opinions in the comments below!
