Gearbox posted a short Steam update confirming that Borderlands 4’s Day 30 Update will arrive early next week. The announcement says the patch will include balance adjustments, performance and stability fixes, and several quality-of-life features. The studio says it took a few extra days to polish the build and improve stability before pushing the update. Until that patch lands, this week’s new set of Weekly Activities will go live later today, October 16.
This is another small follow-up after the game’s earlier post-launch patches. Players hoping for faster fixes on console should remember that approvals take longer, as Gearbox has pointed out previously. The developer’s note on platform timing is worth keeping in mind if you play on PlayStation or Xbox. For more on the kinds of fixes and weekly content Borderlands 4 has been getting, see our roundup on recent patch changes and Weekly Activities.
The Steam post is light on exact numbers or exhaustive change lists, so expect a fuller set of notes when the Day 30 Update actually lands. For now, Vault Hunters can plan to jump into the new Weekly Activities later today and look for the balance and stability update early next week.
