Borderlands 2 available to play for free this Weekend with Ultra HD Texture Pack

After the whole hype has been retained by the players, arguably because of the announcement of Borderlands 3, players can now dwell into an old but improved fun thanks to some enhancements. This all comes down after the controversial partnership between Gearbox Software and Epic Games.

Thanks to the free offer, Borderlands 2 will allow you to dwell into the fun and maybe get familiar with the series. It is a very decent game with a good pack of action and more.

The free weekend starts today and will be available to Sunday, April 7. There’s a chance to also get all of the DLCs for a decent discount. However, the most interesting part would be the new Texture pack that was released by Gearbox Software.

It enhances the gameplay experience by a lot, as it improves the game visually. The new Handsome Collection ULTRA HD Texture Pack is available for free and everyone opting into this weekend’s free-to-play Borderlands 2 offer should also get the ULTRA HD texture pack.

According to it, it includes 4k textures and enhanced characters, weapons, AO, Dynamic Shadows and more. Now that Borderlands 3 is scheduled to release on September 13th, this may be the right time to dwell into the fun and get familiar with the franchise.

Borderlands 3 however, will release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. As we said before, the PC version will be exclusively available on the Epic Games store, while other Digital Resellers, will be able to resell the game starting from April 2020.

There’s an ugly kick to all of the exclusives game titles, but as consumers, there’s nothing much to do about it. What are your thoughts on this one?
